Savor the holiday spirit as the Junior Service Club of Edwardsville/Glen Carbon presents the biennial Holiday House Tour. Six gracious homeowners from Edwardsville and Glen Carbon will open their homes on Sunday, December 7, 2014 for the self-guided tours between 12:00pm and 4:30 p.m. The Holiday House Tour includes interesting architectural styles and home furnishings, as well as a variety of collections of Christmas decorations. This year’s tour also includes an exciting wreath raffle and a food and gift collection for the Glen Ed Pantry. Tickets are $20 each in advance (children under 12 and pets are not permitted), and are available for purchase online at www.edglenjuniorservice.org/holiday-house-tour or at one of the following locations: Miss Bailey’s Poppy Patch, YMCA, Metro Eye Care, Gingham Buffalo, White Birch, HolidayCleaners, Ooh La La Spa, and Bin 51. If available, tickets can be purchased on the day of the event for $25. All of the funds raised by the JSC go back into to the community in the form of scholarships and donations to local non-profit organizations such as the Glen-Ed Food Pantry, Riverbend Head Start, Habitat for Humanity, and many others.
