Junior Service Club of Edwardsville/Glen Carbon brings women together to make a meaningful difference in our community.
Through hands-on service projects, fundraising events, and grant funding, our members support local organizations serving women, children, families, and older adults. Whether you’re passionate about a particular cause or simply want to give back, JSC offers many ways to get involved.
More Than Service
JSC is also about the connections we make along the way. Our members come from a variety of backgrounds, interests, and experiences, but share a common desire to serve. Throughout the year, we create opportunities to connect through club meetings, service projects, social gatherings, and community events. It’s a chance to meet new people, build friendships, and become more connected to the community we call home.
A Meaningful Commitment
Our membership year runs from January through December, and JSC is an active organization with opportunities to participate throughout the year. Members can expect to dedicate approximately 25–35 hours per calendar year to a combination of club meetings, service projects, fundraising events, and other JSC activities. We understand that life is busy, and we encourage members to be involved in ways that fit their schedules while meeting the club’s minimum participation requirements.
Is JSC Right for You?
Women 21 and older who live in Edwardsville, Glen Carbon, or the District 7 area have priority eligibility for membership. Membership openings are limited each year, so applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. If you’re looking for a way to give back, meet other women, and make a lasting impact in our community, we’d love to welcome you to JSC.
